Founded in 1992, Kütahya Dumlupınar University has completed its development quickly and today has become one of the leading educational institutions in our country.

In a university program, Sports Education started with the Department of Physical Education and Sports Teaching, which was opened on April 14, 1994, within the Faculty of Literature and Sciences.

It was published dated April 4, 1999, and numbered 23666, and on April 14, 1999, the School of Physical Education and Sports Teaching was affiliated to the Faculty of Science and Literature, according to the decision to establish Kütahya Dumlupınar University School of Physical Education and Sports. In the Department of Physical Education and Sports Teaching, which was opened as first and second education programs in 1994, the second education program was abolished since 2001.

In addition to the Physical Education and Sports Teaching Department, which was opened in 1994, the Department of Coaching Education and Sports Management Departments have participated in our School since 2003.
